Internationally recognized American painter Cleda-Marie Simmons has been an exhibiting artist since 1951.  She studied at the University of New Mexico with noted abstract painter, Raymond Jonson.

Her first one woman show was held at the famed Ateneo de Belles Artes in Madrid.  Since that time, she has been included in group shows at the Museum on Modern Art in Madrid and Paris, throughout Western Europe, and in American museums and galleries from coast to coast.

Cleda-Marie is a remarkable, versatile and imaginative artist but her passion is to design space.  "I like to create new ways of seeing and express the joy and beauty I feel," she says with a smile.
