Caroline Isacsson

The impetus for an image may start with a concrete visual idea, an object's beautiful form, a lovely sunset, a mood or a sense of a color.  The impetus is all around me.
 
 

I design the images in mystudio by creating my own sets and personally selecting the objects and colors used.  The sets are designed to achieve the look which I feel best expresses my vision.  All effects are achieved in front of the camera.
 
 

Familiar objects surround us.  Look at them closely - do you see?  They have beauty, character and soul.  They can tell a story, arouse memories, make us happy or sad.
 
 
 
 

In the studio I construct sets which play with the light and coax the camera to unveil my subject's intricies. 
I look . . . I find . . . I see.
