David J. Hetland is a nationally recognized designer known particularly for his liturgical works in mosaic and stained glass.  He studied under well know regionalist Cyrus M. Running at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and is the recipient of an honorary Doctor of Fine arts degree from his alma mater and numerous awards for his art and design.
