My work is about moments in time. The moment of clear awareness when first exposed to a new visual sensation is for me the inspiration in creating all of my work.  Traveling leads me to wild places where I am constantly in awe of the perfection of nature.  Whether it be the geometry of Bernini columns in St. Peter's, the glass eyes of the Seated Scribe in the Louvre, the wild juxtaposed colors of Monet's waterlilys, there is always a clear point of wonder that I wish to capture in my work.

That "aha moment"...that moment the "breath is taken away" by something in creation...the "creative moment "...this "point of focus" is for me what I live for in my art.

My goal is to create artwork which is a dimensional artifact of a perfect point in time, that draws the viewer in to expereince a moment of awareness.
