My love of the outdoors began at a very early age, and led to the hobby of photographing nature, which I have done for over 25 years. In college, I earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in physical geography, and had the opportunity to study the physical landscapes I was photographing. About eleven years ago, I turned this passion into a professional business, and have photographed extensively in the western U.S. 

I have sold hundreds of photographs for a wide variety of uses including fine art, corporate collections, books, magazines, ads, calendars, greeting cards, and many other uses. My credits include national clients such as Kodak Calendars, Greenpeace Calendars, Anheuser Bush, Compaq Computer Corporation, Cellular One, Billy Graham Association, and many others. I am represented by three stock agencies which market my images for similar uses. 

Although I sell images to all sorts of markets, the bulk of my enthusiasm is spent producing images for the fine art market. I strive to create photographs that depict the drama of nature. Most of my images contain unique lighting and/or weather conditions, and are saturated with color. They are all made on ultra-fine grain film on medium and large format cameras, which allows for stunning tack-sharp enlargements.
