The Art Collector (800) 987-4151 4151 Taylor St. San Diego, CA 92110 Please click on the pictures to see a larger one If you would like more information on the art work of Anne Bradford Please email the Art Collector		Anne Bradford From the striking flora of California come the images of nature that inspire Anne Bradford to create these highly dramatic paintings that intertwine reality and fantasy.  Nature's design is apparent in the bold shapes of the agave with their broad sword-like leaves or in the swirl of patterns created by a group of rosettes.  Illuminated by sunlight and contrasted with deep shadows, the many layers of palm leaves create their own stunning design.  Classic architectural details, columns and arbors, pools and fountains are added.  The result is a scene that is both imaginary and real.  Areas of smooth sand glinting with gold add a fascinating texture as well as an abstract element. Anne's paintings have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and ASID Designer showcase homes.  Corporate collections and commissions include British Airways, Buena Vista Palace Hotel, North Island Credit Union, Big Horn Country Club, Marriott Hotels and numerous private residences including The Price Family. Anne Bradford has also exhibited a major show of paintings at the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh in Scotland in the summer of 2001.   Her paintings range in size from 2'x3', up to  5.5' high x 8' wide diptychs or  10' wide triptychs.  Custom sizes are accommodated.  The paint material is oil or oil and alkyd on heavy canvas.
